Yep, we’ve already looked at the “Bridesmaid Dress Trends, Spring 2013” from wedding wire, so I thought – seeing as we’ve now embarked upon this exciting new year - we should have a little look at what I predict to be some of the top bridesmaid dress trends for 2013. So here, I present to you my top 5 bridesmaid dress trends for 2013, in no particular order…
Mix and Match
Every bride wants her wedding to be unique, and these days – to achieve that “there’s never been another wedding exactly like mine” feel – lots of brides are going for mix-and-match bridesmaid dresses. Which, depending on the bride’s vision, can mean different dresses in the same color, the same dress in different colors, and – for truly ambitious brides – different dresses in different colors.
Jane Hultgren, one of our lovely customers went for the same dress in different colors and it turned out to be perfect!
I know it’s gonna take a lot of work to do a ‘mix and match’ theme, but it will be definitely worth it when your big day turns out to be unqiue and all your wedding guests leave and say” This is the best wedding i’ve ever attended”!
Lace
Lace has been a fabric that was rarely used on bridesmaid dresses – until now. From a little touch of contrasting lace to full-on lace dresses, we’re happy to see this feminine fabrication move into the bridesmaid world.
Our lovely customer Busola chose a vintage style lace dress for her 7 bridesmaids and her wedding turned out to be just gorgeous! The canary yellow color works perfectly with the skin color and the lace adds a very elegant, romantic and royal feel to the wedding. Love their hairstyles too, very vintage!
We do have quie a few lace bridesmaid dresses, some of them even get illusion necklines, which i predict will be a very popular trend in 2013 too. Isn’t it great to have two popular trends on one single dress!

Bright and bold
Brights show no sign of losing popularity an bright dresses for the bridesmaids will show up a bride’s classic white wedding gown to perfection.
Our customer Rochelle ordered all her bridesmaid dresses in bright coral and it worked really well with the white wedding gown!
Illusion Necklines
Dramatic, sexy and very popular for Spring, illusion necklines add intrigue to these new looks for bridesmaids. It’s amazing how a piece of sheer fabric can absolutely transform a gown. We first saw illusion necklines hit the bridal runways just before the Royal Wedding, and the trend has grown ever since, now expanding to bridesmaid styles.

One-shoulder styles
Hardly a brand new trend, but i believe the one-shoulder look will still be particularly popular this spring:

White/Ivory
Ever since Pippa Middleton made her grand entrance to the Royal Wedding, white bridesmaid dresses have transformed from taboo to trend. To give the white bridesmaid dresses some modern contrast, it’s perfect to add on some colored detailes.
